Motheread
/ Fatheread is based on the conviction that parents
and children strengthen their relationships though
the sharing of stories and that parents help children
become better readers and thinkers by discussing
books together. In partnership with other community
organizations, the Guam Humanities Council's Motheread
program targets underserved communities and helps
parents improve their reading and writing skills
by discussing values, ethics and beliefs in children's
books.
