The Guam Humanities Council awards grants for community-initiated projects and programs that focus on the humanities and are aimed at a public audience. See 2009 Grant Guidelines for eligibility, limitations and projects/program format.

Please read the Grant Guidelines and all instructions before completing the application. All applications must be typed. Only proposals that are complete and received by the grant application deadline will be considered.

APPLICATION DEADLINE is MARCH 13, 2009.

Please note that due to limited availability of funds, the Council is offering only “mini grants” for the 2009 grant cycle. Preliminary proposals, therefore, are not required. See grant application guidelines for details.

The GHC 2009 Grant Application is available for download as a PDF (.pdf) format file that can be read with the free Adobe Acrobat reader.

1. You may print out the application and complete a hard copy on a standard typewriter.
2. You may fill out the application while in reader mode on your computer. Please note: YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SAVE A COMPLETED COPY OF THIS APPLICATION ON YOUR COMPUTER. Any attempt to save the information will only result in a blank application form.
3. If you would like a copy for your records, fill in the information and print each sheet as you complete it before proceeding to the next, as your work will not be saved.

Application forms are also available at our office at the Reflection Center, Suite 106, in Hagåtña. The instructions for completing the form, as well as more detailed information are included in this file. The application must be typed.
